Shipping Information

Wine is a Delicate Commodity

Shipping wine at the peak of summer and the peak of winter is something we avoid doing here at Terra Blanca, as extreme temperature fluctuations can harm or spoil the wine. During the months of November – February and again in June – August we try not to ship out wines due to the extreme temperatures. We ship via UPS Ground and the wine sits in the back of a hot or cold UPS truck during transit. We watch temperatures around the USA and determine when it is to hot or to cold to ship. If it is, we keep the wine in our temperature-controlled cellar until the weather allows us to ship out the wine again.  You will be notified promptly if there are any delays to your shipping order.

*Please note, shipping is weather dependant. If if it is too hot or cold to ship over the winter and summer months, we will contact you with an update to the soonest possible date that we can assure that your wine will arrive in its intended condition. Thank you for your patience.
 

Where Can We Ship?

We currently have a license to ship to 35 different states. We have licenses to ship to all states except AK, AL, AR, HI, KY, OK, LA, MA, MD, MS, NJ, RI, UT, VT, WY, and WV. If Terra Blanca is unable to ship directly to your state, please feel free to contact us.
 

UPS Access Points

If you have difficulty receiving packages, and if shipping to your place of business is not an option, you can now select a UPS Access Point (a nearby UPS store or other UPS pick up location) that is convenient to your home or office to have your package shipped to.  No more waiting at the house all day to sign for your package, the new UPS Access Point option will sign for your package and keep it secure and temperature controlled until you are ready to pick it up reducing the chance of needing to reroute your package.

You will see the new "UPS Access Point" option next to "Home Delivery" when you check out. The UPS Access Point will automatically bring up a list of the closest locations for you to select from. UPS My Choice

UPS My Choice is the only option for you to be able to reroute a package to the destination of your choice.  Please click on the link above to view the membership options. Please note, additional fees and charges may be associated to your package, and not all addresses may apply. The services provided through My Choice are directly through UPS and not affiliated with Terra Blanca Winery & Estate Vineyard. Per compliance regulations, wine deliveries cannot be delivered to a PO Box.
 

Rerouting Packages

With changes to UPS’s policy for redirecting packages, Terra Blanca Winery & Estate Vineyard will no longer be able to redirect a package to a personal or business address.  The only address Terra Blanca is currently able to reroute to is a UPS warehouse facility for which we do not have the ability to choose a specific location. 
 

Return to Sender Packages

UPS will make three attempts to deliver your order. If no action is made by the purchaser prior to the third attempt, and delivery is still unsuccessful, your order will be automatically returned. To avoid your order from being returned and incurring additional fees, please contact our CUSTOMER SERVICE team prior to the third delivery attempt, or sign into your UPS My Choice account to reroute your package.

NOTE: Returns may result in a $25 fee for each package associated with your order, plus the standard shipping rate to reship your order.
 

What do you require to receive shipment?

UPS requires an adult over the age of 21 to sign for the package due to it containing alcohol. UPS will ID upon delivery and ask for your signature.
